South Saskatchewan Community Foundation

The South Saskatchewan Community Foundation is a “savings account” for your community. A donation to the Foundation will simplify charitable giving, create a permanent endowment or memorialize a loved one. The donor has the opportunity to give something back to the community they care about.

Gifts accepted by the Foundation include cash, bequests, real estate, life insurance and securities. Donors can choose to support their hometown broadly or designate a favourite charity or cause. All charitable recommendations are reviewed and must be approved by the Board to ensure compliance with the Foundation’s mission, donor’s intents and legal requirements.

What Is A Community Foundation?

2. locally run public foundation benefitting communities
3. builds and prudently manages permanent endowment funds
4. identifies and responds to changing community needs
5. grants to any or all areas of community service
